First item of discussion in the January meeting was a "thank you" card and video from Seattle Urban Academy. They were able to pay the student's utility and heating bills and purchase "Orca" transportation cards with our last donation. The group also received an update on the Jacob's Well project. They will begin the framing on the structures as soon as the weather begins to clear this spring. They are now raising funds for siding, roofing and windows. The group decided to make a donation to Jacob's Well to kick off their "roofing and window" fund.
